Community Standards
Respect others
Do not harass, bully, stalk, threaten, shame, or repeatedly contact someone who has asked you to stop. Hate speech or attacks based on protected characteristics are prohibited.
Keep the community safe
Do not encourage self-harm, credible violence, illegal weapons activity, dangerous unsupervised training, sexual exploitation, or conduct that places others at unreasonable risk. Do not publish another person’s private information or live location without clear permission.
Be authentic
Do not impersonate another practitioner, instructor, dojo, organization, or public figure. Do not misrepresent rank, dojo ownership, qualifications, affiliations, products, or events. App verification marks must not be described as official organizational certification beyond what the app states.
No spam, scams, or manipulation
Do not flood chat, submit repeated listings, post deceptive links, solicit money fraudulently, manipulate reviews, distribute malware, or use the community primarily for unsolicited promotion.
Share only appropriate content
Do not post illegal content, graphic violence, sexual content, or material that infringes copyright, privacy, publicity, or other rights. Link to public third-party material through its original source and follow that platform’s rules.
Training-partner safety
Use an approximate location until you choose to make direct contact. Meet new training partners in a suitable public or established dojo environment, tell someone your plans, and use your own judgment. Never pressure another user to disclose contact details or meet offline.
Dojo responsibilities
Owners and teachers must moderate their dojo spaces, protect student information, use attendance and rank tools responsibly, and remove access when appropriate. Private dojo information should remain within its intended audience.
Reporting, blocking, and enforcement
Use the report option on a profile or chat message for harassment, hate, threats, sexual content, spam, impersonation, privacy violations, or other concerns. Blocking immediately removes that member from your Training Partners results and hides their dojo-chat messages for you. Authorized moderators may review reports, remove messages, restrict features, or take account or dojo action.
Reports should be made honestly. Repeated false or retaliatory reports may themselves violate these standards. Immediate danger should be reported to local emergency services.
Appeals and questions
If you believe moderation was mistaken, use the Support page and include enough information to identify the decision without reposting harmful material.
