Terms of Use
By using A Warrior’s Journey, you agree to these Terms and the Community Standards.
Training and safety
The app is an educational journal and reference companion. It does not replace qualified in-person instruction, supervision, medical advice, or your own judgment. Martial arts and weapons training can cause serious injury. Train only in an appropriate environment, use lawful and suitable equipment, and follow your instructor’s guidance.
Ranks and instruction
Progress indicators, practice counts, certificates, and app records do not grant rank or teaching authority. Rank recognition remains with the appropriate instructor or organization. Teacher verification in the app records a dojo decision; it is not a guarantee by the app.
Your account
You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to your Apple account and device secure. Provide accurate information, do not impersonate others, and notify support if you believe your account is compromised.
Your content
You retain ownership of content you submit. You grant the service a limited license to store, process, display, and transmit that content only as needed to provide the features you use. Do not submit content you lack permission to share. Dojo owners and teachers are responsible for links, announcements, curricula, and other material they publish to their members.
Community conduct
You must follow the Community Standards. We may remove content, limit features, suspend accounts, revoke dojo control, preserve evidence, or report credible threats or unlawful conduct when reasonably necessary.
External links and marketplace listings
Articles, videos, YouTube links, events, books, sellers, and dojo websites are provided for convenience. External content remains with its source. A listing or link is not an endorsement, guarantee, or promise of availability, quality, safety, or accuracy. Transactions with external sellers occur outside the app.
Dojo administration
Dojo administrators are responsible for membership decisions, attendance, curricula, communications, and appropriate handling of member information. Ownership claims may be reviewed, challenged, transferred, suspended, or revoked. Additional ownership verification may be required.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, probe or bypass security, automate abusive requests, scrape private information, interfere with other users, distribute malware, violate law, or use the app to facilitate harm.
Availability and changes
Features may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued. We may update these Terms and will post a new effective date when we do.
Disclaimers and liability
To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” without warranties of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We are not responsible for injuries, external content, dojo decisions, user conduct, or indirect or consequential losses arising from use of the service.
Termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may restrict or terminate access for serious or repeated violations, legal requirements, or risks to users or the service.
